Not very good, Andy. Several reasons:

1) Thats not an airborne uniform

2) Lots of misaligned textures (especially the faces. Really warped around the nose/mouth areas.)

3) Only 1 helmet skin?

4) Only 1 body/legs...everyone wears the same thing.

5) Barley edited default faces

6) Patches on the small side

7) Bland skin on the default jacket body. If you're gonna have only 1 body at least make it a quality re-skin

8) no transparency on the bullets, looks like a block around his neck.

Main problems is lack of variety and or differentiation.

Uh.... I never said ANYTHING about the model, what the hell is wrong with you? You can't take constructive criticism and then the typical "my :hamster::hamster::hamster::hamster::hamster: is longer" type of reply.

I've never hacked a model, i only model and skin. If you really want to look for my stuff, go into the WIP section, i'm not lame enough to post them in this thread since that would classified as thread hi-jacking.

In my opinion Vandal didn't say anything wrong, he said the things that need improving and he was VERY constructive. Sure, people say bad things about my models and skins but that only helps.

Lots of problems in this pack... it's Very inaccurate and messy.

If you want to release something then be a proffesional and know to take critic also the hard way.
Some people just say OMG SEX and it sucks.

First of all there are no pictures so he downloaded the model just to see it and comment, so respect that.
second he gave you a very detailed decent list with the model problems, without any flames or offenses.
You don't really do anybody a favour releasing something, you should enjoy doing it above all.

Im sure people won't appriciate such attitude in the MOH community either.

wow when did a bunch of kids take over this forum. i remember back in the day when you could post a model ,or any thing for that matter, without a bunch of kid flaming and calling each other names and fighting like 8 yr olds. when well the madness stop. and by the way your model is realy bland i'm curious to what you actualy did on that model. other than add some patches and change the faces.

Releasing things on MSA boards are going to get crits, thats what people do. Any artist for any medium should know when you put your work out, people are going to crit it.

dude this is a forum for a VIDEO GAME. so i think the real question is, why are adults posting on this forum. how can you criticize kids for posting on a game forum, when there the ones that video games are made and sold to.

Half-life is rated Mature, as in 17 years old and up.
It's been clear for quite some time now that games aren't just for kids, and i wouldn't consider things like doom3, R:TW, dod, and half-life 2 as being marketed to kids.

In my opinion, posts that are constructive are MUCH more helpful than all those ass-kissing ones. Here's an example:

"I don't like it, but i'm going to give you a fully detailed list to tell you the flaws of that certain model you made, thus helping you to be even better."
