Did this a while back,its been waiting for the right sprite to come along,and now it has..


unfortunatly it makes sniping too easy,i think i would have to ban this sniper rifle from our own server ffs....

Am I stoopid or is the scope like waaay to far up?

Acutal i've seen many WW2 Kar pics with that kind of scope. It was very common. Yes it was way far like that :P

It would great if you can update the new kar model with that kind of scope :)

it does look unaturally far waya from the eye but i looked it up and it is like that. dunno how you can look through the sights whilst streching your arm to pull the trigger though.

I have a rifle laying somewhere around here, that's on the same term's as that.
It's a Israeli k98.

Reason why the scope is so far down the barrel is because if you were to pull up on the bolt during reload, it would hit the scope mount, because it literally comes up to a 90 degree angle.

To compensate, the scope is moved further down the barrel. Which I also tend to find very comfortable. Odd. :confused:

I had always thought that they had started making the bolts curved inward so that wouldn't happen.

I wouldn't use the sprite, but I like the model, do some of the other scopes used on the k98 too.
