05-11-2003, 06:14 PM
After much hard work, I am proud to release my Shoulder View Pack v1.0. It positions most of the weapons into Shoulder View. I have included the origins for each weapon in the Readme. Well, hope you guys like it.

You can download it here (http://pokemart.dodhq.net/files/Packs/Shoulder%20View%20Pack%20v1.0.zip).

You can check out the pictures here (http://pokemart.fragism.com/gl-bin/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7#7).

The Enfield wasn't in the zip :(

Same with FG42

05-11-2003, 07:07 PM

gj on the rest

the only one i really like is the thompson, the rest interfere with the crosshair

05-11-2003, 08:05 PM
I updated the zip and it now contains the Enfield. Also, I recommend you use a dot crosshair with this pack, because the default crosshair interferes with the guns.

good job char.

05-11-2003, 08:08 PM
nice pack, I was just playing with them.

But, there is something wrong with the spring. When you zoom in, it is just black, no cross hair. The scoped kar is fine, but spring just turns screen black when you zoom in.

i have on question you can post the answer here or pm i don't care but, what are the origins for thous i would like to now for some of my weapons.

Nice work!! One request though, but i dont know if its possible...

When using Mgs, is there any way u can tweak the animation so that it stays default when walking but it adjusts to the shoulder when deployed? That would be cool for an MG42.

just tried it in game and it sucks, dont use it unless you want to see your accuracy decrease becuase to gun is too close to the center of the screen

Shoulder models are useless... they look stupid and are unrealistic

05-12-2003, 02:15 AM
Great Work...

Im not a fan of shoulder view weapons, but i might have to try these out.

05-12-2003, 02:34 AM

Imagine how unrealistic it will be to browse the forums, but be unable to post. Keep this kind of crap up and you will find out.

If you want to critique fine, but this was a worthless flame.

Charizard,

You have some clipping on your Scoped K98.

Just a heads up, GJ overall.

Um...actually...IRL they HAD to shoulder their guns so that they could aim..so YES THEY ARE REALISTIC

and...GJ charizard.....Btw maybe u could released something with the BAR so that it actually has a draw animation?

05-12-2003, 01:23 PM
the BAR does have a draw anim, prob is that it is Hard-coded into dod and it does not play it.

also, German rifles have many clipping problems, maybe you could fix them?

and no, they did not 'shoulder' the weapons, they brought them up to the ironsights.

in DoD, shoulder view weapons are meant to 'represent' the soldiers using ironsights, since ironsight models are useless

Charizard, add the enfield :(

Okay, I updated the zip again and the Enfield should be in there now. I didn't include the Bar and the FG42 because they had too many clipping problems.

Concerning the clipping on the Axis models, I couldn't fix up those clippings because my Milkshape wasn't working and I wanted to release this as quick as possible. I might re - do them and update them later. But, I think the only models that have clipping problems are the Axis rifles. If you have found any other clipping problems just post them here or PM them to me.
