Hi all, I am tryin to make my DOD experience a bit more realistc and I was wondering how to get rid of the crosshair, other than hud_draw 0 as this gets rid of objectives, msgs and death msgs...If anyone has a replacement crosshair sprite that is just invisible, plz post a link too it, and if not any help in making one is greatly appriciated! Thanks!

you can edit the hud.txt in the sprites folder if you know how.
Youll need these to aim

Ok, I extracted the null xhair into my DoD folder, but, how do I make it work?
Or the iron sights for that matter...

Or the iron sights for that matter... is this null xhair named, "dodcross.spr?" if not, you have to rename it to that. then, just put it in the sprites folder.

correct me if i'm wrong, but shouldn't cl_xhair_style 2-16 with the default customxhair.spr be invisible?

ok well, it is named dodcross.spr, now anyway, but there is no sprites folder and it isn't working.......
Oh, forbidden, for me 1-16 is just like the origional crosshair, set at 0, exept they don't expand when you move, and they have little fancynesses at the ends....
Oh awsome, I got it to work, just made a sprites folder, and I am usin those iron sights, kinda hard to see if actually usin the sight, but, it points to the mid of the screen, so, awsome, thanks
You foolish fools. Type crosshair 0 in the console to get rid of your crosshair.
