is there a way to add bones/joints in milkshape?

(I am not worried about wrong number of bones right now, just trying to make a completely new model)

This is the first time I saw Mr.SkyWalker ==>:vader:

yes.. you press the join button in the model tab and click away..

to make a bone off of a "parent" bone select that bone and then press the joint button, and click

But it usually f**** up the animations when i add new bones to the set. How can this be fixed?

:D ... don't i feel stupid... I looked in every single menu, asked a few people online that know milkshape better than me, thought I knew all the GUI features, all but that last button, infact I was learning extruding at the time, and the extrude button is mm away from the joint button.

as for the joints messing up animations, that is because all the bones in the annimation need to be accounted for, and if there is an extra one, unless you redo the model and the animations, there is likely to be a problem.
