Developer's mode?

Is there a way to set up your DOD, or a version of DOD where:
1) it loads with out the 20 - second wait for more players
2) Allows bots (for p_ models and such)
3) there is no death timeout (you can kill yourself, then 2 seconds later you are alive again)

It gets kind of lame waiting for 5 minutes to test a certain weapon or what ever for 10 seconds, just to quit out again.

If there is a way to set up your listenserver.cfg or what ever to run DOD like this? Or maybe a seperate EXE that will run DOD but modified to load quick for developers?

I don't know about the 20 second check for players but I think theres a variable you can alter for the respawn time.

As for developer mode, if you want to see your models as 3rd person type the following in the console.

developer 2
sv_cheats 1
thirdperson

You can then alter your viewpoint on the model using

cam_idealyaw
cam_idealdist

If you want to put it back in first person use

firstperson

If you dont set the developer mode first, third personview always shows a white axis model.

Oh and if you dont want to have to start a lan server each time, when DoD has loaded just type "map dod_jagd" or whatever map you want in the console and it will load it straight up with a lan server running.

good stuff, thanks, that map command (I assume is in the shortcut "target") should help some of the time, now I just need to find if there is a respawn time command (there was back in early beta, but I think it is now forced dependant on the number of players)
