for the b.a.r. i'm not sure, but is there a way to have the vee model have the bipod deployed always? and have anims to where while you run, the bipod sways back and forth? that would be awesome!

yah, i loved that a lot! all someone would have to do is take the original model and put those anims on it...i guess. i'm not too literate with modelling/animating...but i'm sure some kickass editor could do this!

HL (or at least DOD) does not distinguish between the standing and running animations, but I have an old Bren/Type96 that has the bipod move when you shoot it, THAT can be done.

OR, you can just type "forward" in your console and just have your guy never stand still, then make the idle anims sway... That would work, but might not be as fun to play.:kitty:

Making them jiggle during the shoot.smd would be a 5~10 minute job, but, going through and making the reload anims, idle anims, swapping out the down_to_up and the up_to_down, so that they are always down, that is where the animators will wuss out. (I was on my way to milkshape when I thought of all the tweaks I needed to do... sorry, if I had a better animation program, wouldn't be as bad) :carrot: (or, maybe not realy that bad, just go through and erase all the keyframes for the bipod, that might work... I'll try after I get my Lewis and 1919A6 animated)

Ill see what i can do, ive done it with the BAR before, but accidentally deleted it. All i need is a web space so i can host the BAR though :p

Me too, but, it was from the old pre-british British pack that we scalped and reskinned and hacked a little, but that bi-pod jiggle is fun to watch.

(I just reciently found it again, I was using another we found on another MOD's site... Nice, but not ours to release, but, I think even when/if we get permission, I will keep the old B1.2 T96 that is in the pack now)

Hes the guy whos done the two sets of custom Garand animations, one set for the k98, the IK rig and a whole :kitty:load of CS ones (deagle, M4, AK, UMP, more that I can't remember)

I've been trying to get him to do more DoD animations..

Leon's hosting won't be coming back it seems. I've been given hosting by Monkeh though but I have NFI how to work the ftp program he gave me :confused: Once I figure it out I'll host it if you want.

of course you can host it, the faster the better!

Know anything about ftp clients? I can't work this damned thing :confused: I'll wait for the guy who has given me hosting to come on then I'll rope him into getting it set up for me.
