Hello everyone,

I'm proud to release my latest texture work which is for Fiblah's Browning Automatic Rifle M-1918A2 with a bipod. This is a complete B.A.R. replacement set including high-quality textures, sounds, p, v, and w models.

I don't like FOV in general, but I had to keep it mostly for the animations. I would invite people to modify the model though if they really want so long as they credit me and others involved in this set.

not a fov fan myself either but i agree with polygon that its a must have to fit the animations

if anyone wants i did my own try at fov, fit it nicely to the same size as the default bar, i did this because i dont like the fov action of this release, seems weird and the bipods are overkill

btw great skin poly

edit: i also have a compile with sushi's animations, maybe you could put them in the release ?

Looks good, I prefer FOV edited models myself, but the bipod does look a bit large on this particular BAR. At any rate, it's an excellent texture, I found it amusing that the shooting sound included was the exact same sound that I was already using.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! My bad. I thought it was his model. I didn't read. The skin is GREAT though. I like the metal overall. DoD models do you no justice.

I didnt like this compile at all, but the texture is really great. :)

I might have a friend animate a non-foved version ( for all you fov haters, including myself ) and it will be released with Brutal's skin, as well as Polygon's. There will be a few compiles ( with the sights down, no carry handle, etc. ) in that release. It all depends on how fast I could get it animated.

As I said Poly, awsome skin. <3 :D

They need to make a criticism forum then; if someone's going to come in and get pissy whenever we say anything even slightly negative to try and improve something.

So uh..anyway

I love the model and all, but the bipod is just so so long.

I thought Grain was exaggerating the FOV on the model (which it does look fine), until I saw the draw animation. Urgh. :eek:

Perhaps, changing the draw animation to the 3.1 BAR draw animation would be better for it. Using the 1.0 draw animation really does show the bulkiness of the FOV up close.

the bar with my own fov job, pretty much the same fov as on the default bar and with sushi's animations

put the .mdl files into your steam/steamapps/(youremail)/day of defeat/dod/models folder and put the sounds in your steam/steamapps/(youremail)day of defeat/dod/sound/weapons folder
