Ok, I can't be the only one who's had this problem, you wanna fancy up your map, but don't wanna waste the brushwork, so you figure you'll put a model in there.. the problem is, you don't have a model that'll work and finding one seems dang near impossible. Well thats the point of this post, anyone that knows of a link to a map models pack post it in here and help the community out!

I can't wait to get my hands on those new 1.0 models, especially with the model view in Hammer now :D
Yes Flomatic's models are good as well. Anyone have a link?
ther you go (http://www.zockerload.com/~guranga/models/flomodelpack.zip)
Yea flomatic's mpack is great but allot of the model skis are not gritty enough so i had to edit them a bit you might have to as well to get the look you want from them . . .
Also in dod 1.0 the models support masked texturing which means you will now be able to use transparency instead of using more ploys to make things like trees, windows ect this will help mappers allot
ummmm... 1.0 tree mdls ...

LOL, typo in your name, dude?
go to the models and animations forums, and you'll see a post about MOMMY, a group dedicated to making models for mapers, its forming but sounds great, i think we could all use this.

Yes, I just read that actually, it does seem pretty interesting.
I think this calls for my equation. I call it the property of win!
A map without models is like a one that is cold, as a one that isn't cold isn't really a one, a map with out models isn't really a map, therefore Mappers + Modelors = win!
Ok, so I'm sick and bored...... but you know it was funny!
But I can't wait to see what becomes of this "mommy" project.

I think that the best combination of designers for a map is a mapper, a texture artist, and a model maker. Put the three together, have them work together to create stuff, and you'll have a great map.

Add to this programmer and some Valve funding and you can make some HL mod and name it Day of Defeat and even sell in stores.
Sigh, if it could be so easy, Waldo :).

kekekekek I can do all 3 :D and people wonder why it takes me so long to do anything.
Well, about the 3 team thing, not everyone has your skill beaver, there are plenty of wads out there for a mapper, but the models are the tough thing, its just so damn confusing!!! I cant even move 1 vertex point thing. *sigh*, Kudos to those who can model, but as i said before, if this MOMMY thing goes through, i think we'll see better maps from 'smaller people'.
