Hey, this is my first map so I was just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas or comments because I could use them. Anyways, here is some pictures of what I have so far.

neat. something a little different. i would either change the lighting or change the sky. they need to match better. they sky needs to be a TITCH darker or the lighting needs to be a TITCH lighter :)

yeah, those are slightly older pics... I changed the sky to a darker orange sky cause most of the lighting is darker orange, thanks! :D

np man. keep us up to date. i like what u have so far.

For the interiors I suggest using a different ceiling texture than the ugmo avalanche one. As well, those lights need a source, so add some lamps (models) to go with the lights/light_spots or learn/use texture lights.

Yes unfortuanlty it is, the original was based upon sub pens according to a google search i did.

thanks again, I thought I was being clever by making the name dod_shipyard, but doing shipyard in german :p I am going to rename it dod_tor thats not taken, right... i didnt see it on the list so i am just making sure

just use www.google.co.nz and look for dod_tor if it turns up with results apart from this thread then unfortuantly its taken, I do this with all map names I'm wanting to use for my maps ;)
