triggers model and skin reanimated by me. its been a while since i have animated but i think these turned out pretty well..

Great model, skin, and wicked animations, a worthy replacement for the humble colt....
Great combined job lads, i love all you guys that make my dod look pretty...
This is another one of those weapons that's gonna make my m8's say "where the hell do i get that, it looks friggin great" when they come over to my house and play dod the way it's meant to be played - i.e - fully custom!!:kitty:

we rename it to v_carbine.mdl
if we want it as a carbine, right?

That looks great, much better than the default Colt animations. I do se two problems with the animations though: as far as I know, the Hi-Power is single-action, so the hammer has to be c0cked before it fires. Also, the slide shouldn't go foreward during the fire_empty animation. It looks great regardless, but fixing those two things would make it perfect.
It will probably have to be recompiled to work fot the Carbine or Luger, I'll do that and try and find a place to upload it.

if you rename the v_webly.mdl to v_m1carbine.mdl it should work as a carbine.

i didnt know about the single action. my bad :o
and does the slide go forward in the shoot_empty? are you talking about the webly or the colt? if its the webly, well, thats because the webly doesnt have a shoot_empty animation. but if its the colt.. not only should it stay back, but checking it in hlmv and ingame it works just fine for me...

Yeah, that shoot_empty thing was just me, it works fine, very well done animations overall, and in good time too.

it does work as a carbine :(
it shows up, but, when you shoot it disappears and you pull it out again later. theres also no reload animation.

it's because the two models have a different order of animations
M1 Carbine:
-Idle
-reload
-draw
-shoot
-fast draw
Colt:
-Idle
-Shoot1
-Shoot2
-Reload
-Reload no shoot
-Draw
-Shoot Empty
-Empty Idle
You need to recompile the Colt with the animations in the qc in the same order. In this case, it should be "Idle, Reload, Draw, Shoot1 (or 2), Draw"

i dont know but there are those who want it.. so when i can get a hold on editor321 the zip will be updated with m1carbine and fcarb compatible recompiles.

and yes, i do like the pistol model replacing the carbine. its much more fun... getting pistol headshots across the map.
