i like the darker look better.

The lighting is really rough, I've only compiled it twice. It really isn't close to what I have envisioned yet. There will be much variation, right now it's more of building by building in a rough fashion and then I'll go over it all again. It needs to be a bit darker, but not nearly as dark as the original. As much as it looks nice, it won't be played much if it's too dark.

Its called the Half-Life engine. You know the one that is like 6 years old? Cant put too much into detail. Even look at official maps, where bombed out cities with loads of rubble have hardly any destruction on the buidings.

amen to that. i cant wait until half-life 2 comes out so mapping will become more free. (if that makes any sense). but yeah.
