not sure what you need.
Are you trying to just place it in the dod/.../model folder and it doesn't work?
Are you trying to port it to the current DOD?
Are you re-animating it and running into problems?
Are you copying the bones onto another weapon?
Animations I just started last week, but know a little about, as for porting and such, you might need another reader to help.
Maybe upload it somewhere and link to it here (or link to it if it is already posted by marzy), someone might know what is wrong, and fix it for you.

I think he means the reload aniamtion is cut off in-game. I think you need to do a little QC editing for this swede, try changing the FPS on the reload animation. Im not entirely sure on what specific number to change it though.

oh, maybe.
do you hear the sounds for the reload?
are the sounds alligned?
When the reload stops, can you fire imideatly or does they guy just stand there for a few seconds?

That is what I used to do all I know now. It has a few translation errors (from German), but they are minor, and if you follow each step exactly you should know the basics. After that you can tweak fingers and stuff.
MilkShape is like the MSPaint of animations:
It is posible, but a lot more work than other programs, but it is easy to start, and import/export is built in.

actualy more simple that you think, i believe.
reloading = taking official anims and tweaking them? , then yeah.
:dog:
remember this:
"import" the referance SMD, then "import" the animation SMD, play with them then "export" as the same name as the SMD you want to change.
