This has been my desktop for a while so I decided to turn it inot a steam splash screen. It's made for 800x600 but looks ok in other resolutions.

Okay heres the scene: A snowy forest during ww2.


And erm. Okay heres the very bad story:


So there's this paratrooper. Taking an ice bath with nothing on. He thinks nothing of it since the nearest person to him is about a mile away. All of a sudden a German scout walks by and see's him. The German tilts his head to the side and starts to walk fast away. The american, with his shabby square bar of soap,turns to reach for his back, and looks right at the scout. Then the paratrooper gets a "O_O" look on his face and grabs his rifle, sending off all 8 rounds. When the firing is over, the german is standing there like D: But then! Then the German gets his TRUSTY never-failing SPADE of DOOM out and rushes the paratrooper. The trooper is like "AHHHH WTF HITBOXES" and runs like HELL, as the German is chasing him with his arm back swinging wildly at the American soldier.


Lesson (quoted from Dave Attell): If you see a man running down the street with his thing flappin around, RUN WITH THAT MAN. Because you know theres some scray s**t coming the other way.

Yeah, the blanks are a little distracting, but overall I think this is a good photo to use for a background. In other words, I'm using.

yea those blanks were made by Stuart Zimmermann, i know him personally because I reenact 101st 2/502nd F company with him out of MN he no longer makes blanks but still, that picture is off of his site, http://www.ww2-blanks.com/us.html D: that's his M1, his jacket, boots, and what not D:, he also has a BAR, 3 .30 cals i believe, 2 tommy guns, 1 mg42, 1 mg34, sten, bren, stg44, mp40, k98, k43, that i know of D: he also reenacts 2nd SS Das Reich hence all the kraut weapons :P i think i shall use this splash screen :D i did get a good laugh when i saw the splash for the first time though i was like hey i know that picture from somewhere D: OH YEA STUS' SITE! lol

About the bullets, yeh, its a let down but its the only picture of its type that I could find and it still looks pretty cool.
