Ugh, I'm sorry to all of the talented modellers and skinners. But they all look so much alike...Make a good M1928 Tommy or a Reising or anything.

Klowns M1928's were nice but had anim bugs and texture errors...Someone make some good 1928's or anything. Please stop with the goddamned M1A1's :x

The United Defense M42 SMG was an expedient design made to supply resistance groups and co-belligerants, such as the Chinese and Italians (post '43). It was either 9mm or .45 calibre, I'm not sure which, and had a vague resemblance to the Thompson SMG, but was rather ugly.

Good luck finding any pictures of it, the only picture I have is an illustration in "The Italian Army 1940-45 (Men-At-Arms Series, 353)." There are weapons books featuring the gun as well, but I don't own any. A quick google search turned up no images either.

This is MSA where people only make models based on 3D primitives such as "Box" Thompsons and "Cylinder" MP40's.

You'll also find a selection of over 100 Kar and Garand re-skins (http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=299773&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending). :p

P.S. Didn't anyone tell you that making a Tommy is the equivelent of making an M4 for CS? Its a right of passage! :D

U can never have too many m1a1's. The modelers will model as many as they like and the skinners will skin as many as they like:p

UD42 is the one in the bottom right corner. They were pretty rare, I'll get more info from one of my books tomorrow cause it's late now. I'm 90% sure it's 9mm, and was given to resistance groups and the OSS. Again more info soon.

Nice to see you're making a Reising. Reising is c*ocked on the bottom of the gun below the barrel I believe, just a heads up when you get it animated.
