frustrating for animating.

the new version can (and usually will) cut off the first and/or last few frames of an animation when attempting to export it. copying keyframes is also bugged, as copying 1 set of frames and then another, different, set merges the two togeather.

animators beware :(

Did they iron out the bugs from 1.7.0 ?

only versions 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 have the animation bugs. i havent noticed any other bugs per sey as of yet.

1.6.6 and lower do not have the animation bugs. sadly for no apparent reason i cant get any other version but 1.7.1 to run on my windows xp(which i could before formating.. go figure), so effectivly i havent been able to animate properly from some time  if anyone else knows a solution that would be super

1.6.6 most certainly has it. That’s the version I first noticed it in.

Irritating as it is, you should really be posting your complaints in the Milkshape forums as thats where your mostly likely to get it noticed and get it fixed.

yeah, jed, they should. After I read these posts last night I went over to the MS forums to see what they said over there, I couldn't find any posts about animations not working. Not to say there are none, just I didn't see them if they are there. If you have MilkShape and you paid for it, don't you think you deserve to have a program that WORKS?

I am headed over there right now to start a thread, come over and add some stuff too, those that want a beter piece of software.

I have to admit that the Milkshape forums can be a bit annoying at times. You get no response or you get attacked by "fanboys" for making any critisisms.

However, I do believer Mete reads the bug reports, even if he doesnt respond so its still worth doing.

But above all, post examples of how to replicate the problem - its the easiest way to help get things fixed.
