Sadly, there will be no more updates, it was named B1 because this was going to be a beta, but it looks as if this will have to be the final. My .qrk file has become corrupted as it sat for a few weeks on a floppy disk, and when I went today to try and make some changes, i installed a fresh version of quark and minipython, however the file is corrupted, as i can open my other maps :(
This is frustrating as I wanted to make a few changes, however now the map will have to stand on its own as a final product.

Are you sure you can't just decompile the map and work on it like that?

Decompiling maps doesn't work, at least from a workable perspective...recompiling it without first re-doing pretty much every brush would be a complete fluke.

If you want anything more I can say that scale of some buildings if a bit high (it seem more like pre-1.0 maps - cherbourg, old caen, etc. If you could add some indoor details like paintings and furniture it would look a bit better even in this scale.
But, if you can't fix anything why post ?
PS. That's punishment for using floppy disks in 21st century.

Well, thanks craftos, those rooms "ie the 1.3b style" were actually going to be transformed into main hall areas via models, which i can do now
However, I am busy at the moment shooting a film for a festival.
All i want is after putting all this work into a map i just want at least a few posts of what people like dislike hehe :) (this map was started back in 1.3)

It saddens me that maps like mine which people work for 5 months on go unplayed while maps like dod_box get mad playtime...
Same with a ts map i did, small dm map, got tons of playtime, wasn't 1/10th as cool as this...
oh hum dee dum

Then maybe you should be looking at yourself if a box map is more fun than your map?

it's not, it just seems that in TS more custom maps are played, and it wasn't a box map it was a city/tunnel map...
Sigh, this saddens me, still, because aftermath is a lot more fun and the bots pwn...

It's lookin not too bad mate, I will give it a shot!
It's a pitty though the source corrupted because this map could really prosper from a few minor fixes.
