Some custom player minimap icons, replace the obtrusive defualt circle & arrow with small T crosses. These more accurately place players on your map and allow you to distinguish individual players when they're close together. With default icons, you just see a bunch of circles clamped together, and who can have that :)

Also released are some static (non dynamic) crosshairs, slightly larger than the default cross, and in 16 different colors. They come with a script for cycling between the 16 custom crosshairs and the default one.

The minimap is allied, allies show green crosses, axis red, while you are always yellow and in the center. I put shadowing for the crosshair preview to let you see them better, since in game they are more visible against various objects.

Go get your minimap icons (http://www.deviantone.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=6) and crosshairs (http://www.deviantone.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=5)!

Unzip either file to:
\SteamApps\EMAIL\day of defeat\dod\sprites

To use the cycling script with F12 key, type in console:
EXEC sprites/nextCrosshair.cfg
BIND F12 nextCrosshair

Not very... different. Think up something unique and original. Thats a good way to get people to recognize and use your work. However, i'm sure this release will be used by people who are just looking for a different color crosshair. Keep it up though. :)

I was going for simplicity and better visibility :)
