you might not see it very good, but if u download it for example and try it out, you'll see, basically, what do i do to change all my other allied weapons, to make them have that sleeve ?

OK, well assuming those textures fit on all the default sleeve:

Few things you'll need: Jed's HLMV ( Half-Life Model Viewer)
A Paint program for resizing. ( if needed)
GFCscape
The sleeve texture

To get Jed's and GFCscape go to google, and search for it. If you don't have a paint program i suggest getting Jasc Paint shop pro, they have a trial demo for download. www.jasc.com

The sleeve texture you be able to get by opening Jed's. Open up the garand model located in your dod/models folder. When thats open you click on the texture tab under the model viewing area. Scroll to "alliesleeve" or something similiar until you see the sleeve texture on screen. Click on the export button and save it to your desktop or somewhere you'll remember.

To get each default V_ model you'll need to open up GFCscape. Note: you'll need .NET framework from microsoft.com in order to run it. Try opening it up before getting the .NET framework, as you might already have it. With GFCscape opened go to File/open and locate your steam folder, when there, go to steamapps and click on the DayOfDefeat.gfc. Open it and click on the + next to models, then the + next to weapons. Find each and every allie v_ weapon model. Extract them into a folder or your desktop.

Now here's the long...boring part. You'll have to open up each default model and apply the new sleeve to it. You do that by almost the same process of getting the sleeve texture out. First you open one of the default models, then click on the texture tab. Now instead of clicking export click on import, and find the new sleeve texture you saved. Double click it. The new sleeve will be on screen now. After that just click save model and name it the appropiate name. Then put it in your dod/models folder and your set.

Note: you have to do each and every allie v_ default weapon model. Otherwise you'll only have one or two models with the new sleeve.

If you have any other questions or need help, IM at Hurlboy01 on AIM. I'll be glad to help you.

Good luck, man!

that means it's dimensions are different, like instead of being 256x256 or whatever, it's 254x255

Open the file in PS or Irfanview, or any other program that lets u resize.

-In PS, go to Image, Image size, then disable "constrain proportion", now resize the image to the right size then save. Compile the model and voila!

-In Irfanview, open up the file and go to "Image", then go to "Resize/Resample", then resize it to the right size and save. Do not "save as" or else the image will return to RGB.

If you don't have irfanview, you can download it here:
