Hi all i hope some one can help me i look for all the files need to run dod_avalanche2 map. I found a zip file but with only the *.bsp file in it I need all the file that the map needs to run, as when i start the map i get this error message.
cannot find file dws.spr

Hm, have you checked your STEAM Maps folder? Check some of the wad files in the main dod entry folder?
As for that Sprite file, if im reading it right, goto www.schlex.net or some place where custom maps/sprites exist for download--and have a looksie. I dont have the map personally, but if someone does with the files you need, im sure they will gladly help you out.

Its basicly the same, with a few small edits and the spawns are reversed.

I played a supposed avalanche2, it was stupid. All they had done was remove the anti-spawncamping...so when I joined there was a guy already in the spawn killing everyone. I eventually spawned far enough away to grenade him, but honestly what was the point?

Someone hacked original avalanche and made this so-called ava2. Nothing interesting though.

well i got it to work at last i just renamed a small *.spr file that seams to work. as for the spawncamping yep bad thing they removed the anti-spawn gun's. O well just play on a server that will not let you spawncamp. It be fun to see more of this say on a map like zalec

yeah i heard about this before... and supposedly the results were, the axis still won EVEN when the upper team can enter the lower teams buildings.
