how do i install with HLMV?
can't i just manually throw it in the proper folder?
EDIT: nevermind, dumb question ^^^
but i still don't know how to install with HLMV.
open up HLMV, open up v_garand.mdl(and any other guns that dont use the model with the tanker jacket on it). go to the texture tab and scroll down to the us_sleeve.bmp. go to import, and select the texture you downloaded from here.
P.S.- could someone plz list the gun models that dont use the player model with the tanker jacket on it?

ok i did what you said.
and when i clicked to see the model again. the new skin was there. but when i went into DoD, it wasn't.
i tried it again except after closing HLMV, i reopened it to look at the model again and the old tanker skin was back. what am i doing wrong?

Did you save the model? After you import your texture click on the button at the bottom that says "save model" and then in the window that pops up navigate to the model that you are working on and save it over itself.
Could somebody please write a bat that would automagically apply the sleeve skin to all v_models? Like there was one for adding muzzleflash to 3.x playermodels.
Cheers.
Bleh, nevermind ^ . I did it in HLMW in 5 mins.
Gj with the new texture.
Cheers.
Thanks fellas. Glad ya like.
