I was given the great opportunity to update this map. Its too bad nobody plays b1 anymore, so thats why I asked the author to do this. I tried to do something like this before (cr44) and i got smoked so I hope I do better here.

What ive changed was the appearance of the map, almost everything. I also changed the objectives. Instead of picking up explosives and destroying a few flaks and tanks, i made it so there are three 2 man captures in seperated areas. They are all in trenches/bunkers. The axis just must defend for 12 minutes. I think its much more playable now. tell me what ya think!

Now I had to upload this to my crappy/free images account. Yes I know, thats sad. but hopefully I can get a mirror up from someone soon before my bandwidth dies. Here are some images:

That looks damn fine. Do you have any screenshots of the orignal version? Just for comparison :p

looks good, i like the layout and the fact it all looks like open, and field like.

only little thing that bugs me, nothing important but that edge around a few of the pics, with just a little alpha texture grassline. im sure its hard to find a good way that works to surround the map, but maybe its a little overused. still, i like it.

are you talking about the texture of the hedge? or the actualy hedge itself? because i blended my own hedge texture and the one in charlie and I got that. and I must use the hedge, because its the only way to properly seperate the map and to use vis blocking. If i didnt, it would look sloppy anyways.

kinda both really, nevermind. it looks decent and also if it help you with vis blocking, better just leave it at that.
