Hey guys would it be cool if I made a map about Pegasus Bridge and even If I did what would it take to become a real DoD map?

I think if you search the forums you'll find that someone is already making a map by that name . . .

Given that the two bridges (The attack was not just on "Pegasus" bridge you know) were situated on very flat ground in a very large open area this type of map has potential in the HL2 world...a few have tried to map this in HL1 and the results were less than spectacular (me included)...but it's on my list of potential maps for DoD2.

Okay, I'm still working on it, All I need to know is how do I make a destructible 88mm cannon, and the same with a tiger tank?

What I still don't get is how the Schwetz bridge was so well made... but no one seems to be able to do the same once again.

I know of about 4 of different stages of work from different people on the same thing. Same with foy, bastogne etc. etc. it's not an original idea.

Hmm... well its been a while since I was last on the DOD forums, but you remember a while back that I was whinging about how too many people were making snowy/bastogne maps.

Despite all the suggestions of alternative scenarios in here, no one listens. 6 months on and STILL NO SWORD MAP!!
