[REL] Flags

Replacement flags including 2 german versions, one battle flag one party flag. Just rename w_gflag2.mdl and flags2.mdl to w_gflag.mdl and flags.mdl.

u are my hero now but maybe u can make the ns party flag a little less dark - that would be supercool

edit : all flags are a little dark - could u make them all a little less dark

sorry to tell u but your flagmodel has some bugs look on my screenie could u also make the party flag much brighter - the red should look like fresh blood:)

Alright thank nordvolk, I will fix this. Except the red must be something with your monitor because it looks fine to me and I don't plan on changing it.

I'm actually going to remake the flags instead, with better textures and no bugs. If I can, also make them have an ambient flapping sound.

The flapping sound is an entity placed by the mapper when he/she puts the flag in the map he/she chooses to place an ambient_generic playing the flapping sound or not. As it stands in the model you cannot add the sound, and I hope a way to do it isnt done, as the one making the map, I wouldnt want sounds forced on me that I didnt want in the map

I hate to say this but you are wrong...it is possible and I've already done it. Your not forced either...it's your choice to download the flags, and your option to install the sound I will provide.

(Edit: After about an hour of tweaking and testing I've determined that while it works and it looks right, theres still no way to set the distance at which the sound can be heard so I'm not going to do the sound.)

You have the wrong flag. The flag should only have 48 stars.
