First off, special thanks to Editor321 and Marksman for getting this converted :D. If you're curious, YES, this has the buttsmack animation.

- Added knotches and scrapes in the wood.

Just a question, are those the default origins?

Yeap, as far as I know they are defaults.

It looks very pretty.

But im not a big fan of lighter wood grain. They remind me too much of my kitchen table. Good work anyways.

I like them but I think this "errected" weapons are not as good as normal one imo.
They look too weird for me.

dillinger, do you make your own wood texture, or do you use a picture?

Dillinger

All my wood textures are taken from hi-res digital pictures I take of woodgrain on my digital camera.

Then I just add the appropriate shading, lighting, scratches, etc via Photoshop. :D

k, here are some screenies of the shoulder version of mine, it has clipping when you look straight up, but i don't really care much about that, as i don't look that much straight up.
Fixing that would mean for myself that it doesn't feel right anymore.

this is how it looks when looking straight forward:
screen 1 (http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/mjj.denooij/dod/screenies/garand1.jpg)

This one shows when the clipping starts:
screen 2 (http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/mjj.denooij/dod/screenies/garand2.jpg)
just look right above the ammo counter of my current clip, there it starts.

This one shows how it looks when looking straight up:
screen 3 (http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/mjj.denooij/dod/screenies/garand3.jpg)
As i said before, i don't mind it that much, infact, i only noticed it today when making the screens (after using it since it war released....)

If anyone wants it, let me know, ill try to find a host then.

Very nice. Alot more exciting then the previous "boring" garand.
