I would really like some tips and guidelines for skining cloths, where do you start? besides all the curves and wrinkels, the base texture... where's the catch?
there must be something more than the basic color, some dodging and burning...
If anyone can make/or link me to a tutorial or help in any way... it could be really nice.
Thanks in advance.

Use google image search to find a preferably large pattern of the type of cloth you want to use. Get that into photoshop. Save it, and use 'Auto Seemer' to make it tileable, which you can find here (http://www.slackiller.com/hlprograms.htm). Then re-open it in photoshop. Go to Edit> Define Pattern, click ok. Open the image you want to put the cloth onto, make a new layer and make sure it contains everything you want to have the cloth on. Right click on that layer and select Blending Options. Create a new pattern, and use the cloth pattern you made. Set it to overlay/soft light/ etc, whatever looks good, then click okay. Then mess with it the way you want.
