I've edited the Hi Poly wavey flag model to take my Hi Res Flag textures, and fixed the model so the textures fit better. Also edited the flag to fit the bigflag model, so now this also uses the wavey model.

I always love your flags, but has anyone ever noticed that the poles are off-center? I sometimes find myself missing flags at critical moments because the model appears somewhere else from where the point should be. I know it's only a small distance, but that small difference has cost me before. I love them, nonetheless!

Would it be possible to make one of these but with the default green american flag?

I love these btw, just i dont like the american flag all that much. Reminds me of beta 1.

I think these models were pulled out of the Oposing Force expansion. They are much better in the animation department and these skins add to it.

Used them back in 2.0, glad I've got my hands on them again.

That said, I am rather partial to the green Allied flag for some reason.

is it just me or doesnt it change? I downloaded ur previous ones mate, and they worked. But these ones i download and they are exactly the same, nothing like the pics. I want sexc flags too! Is the only place u need to put the .mdl file in the dod/models/ folder ? Or is there other places they need to go too ?

The problem is the hitboxes. I originally converted the OpFor flag to DoD back around B2.0. The flag model had to be repositioned so that it stood up properly. The problem was that I couldn't move the hitbox as well. The hitbox is aligned with the bones and you can't move the bones because then everything gets really distorted. The original conversion that I released had the off-center problem but I later fixed that by moving the model so that the base of the pole intersected the hitbox at ground level. I re-released the flag model but a lot of people had already downloaded the off-center version and re-released it with new skins so it wound up that there were two versions of the model floating around. With the repositioned version I never had a problem with missing caps again as long as I ran through the pole but I suppose it's possible that some people still might if they didn't realise how the hitbox was positioned or if they were using flags based on the original released version.

BTW thanks for converting these MaRzY. I was considering if I wanted to go through the effort of trying to convert them but thanks to you now I don't need to.

nice job but wheres the w_ flag models?

I'd like to second the request for a green allied flag rather then an american flag. If I knew how to change the textures I would, but I can't figure it out. These like really awsome, I would just rather the green allied flag. Thanks.
