I'm thinking it's looking pretty darn good so far.. Keep up the good work.
Lovin' the wood handle.

Just a suggestion though, try to make the blade look more "used".. at least IMO.

Does this replace the Kbar?

comming along nicely if your new to skinning.

i would say blend the light part of the blade a little, instead of there being a sharp contrast, smooth the shineyness of it out.

On the handle, the wood/metal needs some sort of join would be nice.

Is this bayonet going to be a knife replacment, it's just that if your going to put it on the end of a weapon, your really not going to see the detail. You could reduce the polycount from 800 down some by just using the skin to show the detail rather then the actual model, as you will not be able to tell in game if it's on the end of a rifle. You could maybe use this one for a knife replacment, and a lower poly one using the same skin for a weapon model. Because adding 800 poly's to a rifle model, that you will not really see, seems a little over the top to me.

Nice model though, and the skins looking good...:).

I think he said before that it was an Italian bayonet so I'm assuming its gonna be an axis weapon replacement.

lol this is Ash's bayonet from the other thread, so im guessing its going to be used for a rifle, but ive also seen this compiled for hand use, so, whatever Ash chooses.

and thanks alot guys for the compliments! :D

well i can be used for both purpose.... well but as marzy said, if u use it on a rifle then make a new model and just use the texture
so ur rifle wont get too high poly.... lol
