Xer,

can you please post a link to your fine tree collection??

I really stink at making trees (the best I can do is a cilinder with two func_walls/additive on them and a leaftexture.
I've been messing for hours to get a nice foilage but I just stink. (self consciousness is the path to knowledge ;) )

So if you could plz help me out here.

think of all the noobs trying to make trees :D
(heck, maybe I should start a fund the 'trees for noobs'-fund with a yearly prom for all those treeless noobmappers and nice t-shirt and other merchandising.... hmm... seem to go off-topic)

Try using the models that come with 1.0.

There are links to tutorials on using models in the FAQ post in the mapping forum.

use the model trees

just in case you dont know,
create an entity called "env_model"
click on "Model name"
and choose a tree model under the "Mapmodels" section of "Models" in your DoD folder

like.. arc_xer_tree1.mdl

not 100% sure, but I recall you could use env_sprite but use a model in it instead, and then be allowed to change the size...
