but i think i have a good idea... only for elite editors, ok heres the idea.... have every weapon of every team: us, british, and all axis weapons, have them be ure meelle weapon, ok here wut i meen instead of a knife or shovel, u have say a thompson that u use to wack some1 on the head... :D but say then ure a axis rifleman u use a rifle not a thompson and for stg44 u use a stg44 not a rifle.. do u get wut i mean?, can this be done?

You could do it but you wouldn't have it change depending on your class as there is only 1 melee weapon model per team except for the axis who get the gravity knife of para maps.

So you'd have to choose one weapon per team. E.g. US have tommy, Brits have enfield, axis kar for example.

I've also done an elite tommy, which i think is similar to what your getting at. The thing is you would need to be a one weapons always man for this to be any good. I mean you could take say the MP40 and replace your knife with this model, with some new animations, like the draw animation would show the MP40 moving from default position to a position ready for clubbing someone with. Then the stab anim would become a smack on the head with my MP40. Then you would tweak the MP40 draw anim, to make it go from the clubbing position back to the default position. Trouble is if you don't use an MP40 all the time, it would look pants with any other weapon. The only thing i wish for is the dev team give every class there own knife model, then we could have sten with baynet, butsmack or anything you fancy, and it would not matter then if you used all the weapons.

actualy i did download ure elite tommy (with the knifke on the side) :D i like it but sometimes it gets weird if im using a sniper...
but u did a great job on it! the knife sound is so realistic... so marzy if u could, a stg44 for axis, thompson for us and rifle for brits it wood be real appreaciated. ska what is that clip from on ure sig? its funny :p...
