I've been up all morning trying to edit the origin of a thompson v_model. I have it exactly how i want it...but i think i'm typing the $origin command in the QC file wrong or something, because after i save and recompile it, my changes are'nt showing up in game. Could someone maybe copy/paste a QC file with the origin command so i can see how its supposed look? Also, does it matter where the $origin command goes on a QC file? I thought i was just going to be able to use a QC file from a weapon i already have as reference for this. But for some odd reason, none of the QC files are showing the $origin command? Gah, please help me.....

The models have an origin by default when they are compiled so you don't see the origin command. I dont know how they are set when it's created, but the command is

$origin 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000

The zeros are the X, Y, and Z adjustments.

It doesn't matter where you put the command, but I usually put it near the top.
