Some 1.2 Questions

I was going to post this in QnA, but I was hoping it'd get more attention here..

anyway, I was wondering, will there be a new fgd file for 1.2... since there will be a class addition and some other changes? ... Also, if there is a new fgd, will we have to recompile maps to have the changes catch, and for it to run with 1.2?

There will be a new fgd but you will not have to recompile your 1.1 maps...they will work fine in 1.2.

Unless you used moveWith in 1.1.....It's removed in 1.2.

So, i havnt heard this before and now im curious, if u can't tell me what new classes there are going to be, can you at least point me into a direction to where u learn it at.

I'm curious about the map class file Mugsy was talking about, if we as 'mappers' are able to control classes on our maps instead of the server admins then i think alot more maps will be produced with certain objectives for each one. The only thing I'm not sure about is weather an admin could change these after its been done.

Ideas?
