By the time we will create a WWI pack, with all the weapons, skins and everything HL2 will be old.

Wait for a WWI mod to come out and use it's models... i don't think you will see people making wwi models for fun (but that's just what i think), but atm you can start with cheeto's maxim as a mg, you got the mauser and the luger, and the enfield and the webley...

5 Models on the house :-)

[shameless plug] You could wait for OTT (http://www.xtremegn.com/overthetop/media_2.php?PHPSESSID=8e526cbac996d8fbce18b33b5373 db90)

It'll be worth it [/shameless plug]

And yeah, a different enfield was used, the SMLE.

*edit*

There's quite a few MP-18 models out there, the MP18 was used in WWI.

and ive seen some great SMLE models arleady out for DoD

the SMLE No.1 Mk.III* Model of 1916 was the British standard arm, which in no way really reflects the SMLE No.4 Mk.I of WW2 asides from the action.

And the MP-18.2 models out there are also incorrect, to be correct they'd need an angles magazine well with the Artillery Luger DWM 'Snail' drum-type magazine.

Really the only weapons DOD has that would be adequately portrayed WWI weapons are the Webley Mk.IV and the Luger P08.

Hello!

This is HotelSecurity, leader of the "The Trenches" project. I really don't post around here at all, but I stumbled across this and was surprised people knew about the project. We have a completed a good amount of weapons but continually do them over and over because we like being perfectionists. The G98 has a much different "feel" to it than the K98 seen in DoD, so we're not "copying" anyone. However, we're still in need of some skinners to go along with our great MSA team, so if youre interested, let me know. We're in the beta testing process at the moment and the mod is looking great. Thanks for following along and feel free to contact me with any questions,

are sure because TT has been at 98% for a long time . it took awhile for TT to get from 95% to 98% . so i'm guessing it will come out this summer .

First off the SMLE No.1 Mk.III was NOT fabricated in 1916. It was adopted by the British Military on the 26th of January, 1907. Secondly the action is the part of the rifle which is second most different between it and its No.4 counter-part. The first being the muzzle. If you think they "in no way really reflect" each other then you sir, are a smacktard. Research more next time before you fill peoples heads with incorrect information about such a great rifle.
