Not bad but WTF is with the micro hands! lol

The holster was made by 2LtBen I think but don't hold me to it.

Other than that though they're not bad.

Very nice! Wish we could get a version of them with all helmets and padded jackets instead of the trench coats, though!

LOL, same day I was planning on releasing mine. :p Good faces, much better than what I have, they fit the Russians perfectly.

Nice, anyone know where I can download a Soviet flag mdl or texture?

03-16-2004, 02:12 PM
looks really nice, but could some1 plz make em 1.0 compatible??

03-16-2004, 02:36 PM
Im sorry mate i don't think it's good :[

First of all there are not enough faces for every class...
the body is the same for every class, the faces does not look russian imo, some are pure RTCW... couple of edits to them or retexture could be nice.
the hands are disorted, wierd and they are diffrent for every class, the holster does not fit the coat and the lighting of the model.
the coat texture doesn't look like it was changed a lot and it's basicly german, the hats and helmets are really great... very good job there :-)
hmm... more work needed, i like the general direction.

Here is a war torn and normal Russian flag textures, that will fit my high res flags, i think it's the WW2 flag of that time.

Russian WW2 flag textures (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/scitzo/RussianWW2.zip)

You can find the flag model here
Flag model (http://dodec.hlgaming.com/main.html)

Just use HLMV to import the new texture over the old one.

I love the model but hands suck please fix it.

Most of the Uniforma is incorrect--and the coloring and contrasting is not to my style.

Is this to say the idea, and actual, PRODUCING of Russian models is bad, or that this release is flawed with my opinion? Hardly. I'm still excited about this release, but their are few things in IMHO that need to be changed. Good work, nonetheless.

Very nice work. I replaced the face textures with more better looking ones and they're more pleasant to look at now. :)

Hands are fugly, you should definetely add more poly to them.

BTW, is that Asuka Soryu in your signature?
