Has anyone produced a working package of dod_ramelle for DoD 1.0/1.1?

Yes. It is called DoD_merderet. It is an official map.

Maybe they want ramelle, cause it is better than mederet.

Aside from textures, I think ramelle and merderat are identicle.

the only complaint I ever had about merderet was the lighting and the textures... but from what I've seen of merderet2, those problems have been smited.. smoted... whatever.

Merederet 2 looks amazing to say the least, plus the layout and design has changed quite a bit.
Kl and IR are a good team

Indeed the layout is very very close but we are interested in going "retro" with some maps despite their warts and to appreciate their beauty marks. Our attempt at running dod_ramelle under DoD 1.1 has produced some interesting results. An appropriate dod_ramelle.res file would be:
maps/dod_ramelle.txt
gfx/env/grave256up.tga
gfx/env/grave256dn.tga
gfx/env/grave256lt.tga
gfx/env/grave256rt.tga
gfx/env/grave256ft.tga
gfx/env/grave256bk.tga

The problem for us arose in the use of:
sv_downloadurl "http://where.we_keep_our.stuff/maps"
Other retro maps that have been packaged for 1.0/1.1, with approrpiate .res-s, work fine. dod_ramelle, brought over raw from 3.1, is inconsistent in downloading all of the above resources with the exception of always failing to download dead-sniper-bridge1.mdl! Sometimes the grave256*.tga files fail to come down, sometimes some of the *.txt files fail to come down, etc. Very strange. This may be a bug in Valve's implementation of the sv_downloadurl OR there may be something in 3.1 maps themselves that needs to be changed that then brings them "up to spec" with 1.0/1.1. Thus I was hoping that someone had worked with the old dod_ramelle and converted it (if that is done to old 3.1 maps). I was then going to use it in the above scenario and see if downloading resources would fail again.
Cheers,
