Btw, you obviously know your WWII weaponry. Germans converted a lot of enemy weapons, like the ppsh w/mp40 stick mags, etc

Not quite sure what you mean by that, the stick mags from the pps43 could be used in the ppsh41, which is what we're seeing here, not ppsh41s converted for mp40 magazines =P

Anyway, looks cool but I don't really want to replace either team, I've got RO for russians already =P

Well I intend to release the player models with the default anims so you guys can play with em and enjoy em, then in the complete thing I'll have replaced the necessary player anims with my own. So that they'll hold a Panzerfaust or reload a DP-28 properly.

He's talking about one of these I think cheeto.

Funny how alot of people forget about what Russia did to Poland throughout the late 19th and first half of the 20th century. Gotta admire the polish for the war against Russia in the 20's though, the Polish victory outside of Warsaw was nothing less than spectacular lol

Got confused someone mentioning replacing the mp40. Anyhow, the model looks really impressive in game.

On the Eastern Front many German troops used captured PPSH-41s as they were seen as more reliable than the MP40 (summat to do with teh oil not freezing in them). Plus they have a higher ROF and a larger magazine capacity (71 in the drum mag) which made them popular with German troops.

If I use this for sten will it work?

Yeah, like the Readme says (at least I think it says, if it doesn't, it needs a good thwapping) it'll work for the Sten, but not the p_models.

I prefer the steel stock over the wooden one.
