Very nice...if it wasn't for my fresh favorite, the DeLisle that was recently released, I'd definitely use this.

I'm going to save this in case I grow tired of the Lisle.

I like the finish on the wood...looks like it's been polished almost.
Would've been nice to have something similar for other rifle models. The carbine is one of those models that deserately needs a makeover. Consider it.

Great job once again.

cool...now it just needs the sling to be animated, and maybe a different skin? I'm not to partial to the skin, especially the metal, too high contrast for my taste. But just the fact that it has the sling is cool :D

Terrific work! This is byfar the best looking wood i've seen in a long time. I too am not too fond of the yellowish color, but everything else about it looks too good not to use. I hope you take your skinning talents to other weapons as well.

Great work ! im going to tweak a little for my own taste but it's a really great job :-)

and the wood although i don't love it's color is very very impressive, that texture is quite special.

SMLE = Short Magazine Lee Enfield.

So Splinter is perfectly correct in saying its an SMLE.

To expand on what Ska said, there's lots of SMLE variations and versions, the one you posted pictures of is just one example.
