[REQ] for p_ and w_ models

hey all...i use basically all custom stuff, most of which dont have p_ and w_ models...i use some of jajahu's pack, but one thing from this pack stands out and that is the size of the k_98 model when being held...i dont wanna use it cuz its like 6 feet long, but the default red one looks so stupid...if anyone can take the default p_ and w_ models for both the k98 and scoped k98 and just color them a dark shade of brown, but otherwise leave them the same id be most grateful...pm me if ur down for the project
ps: it doesnt even hafta be done that well, just something brown instead of red and yellow (and not 6 feet long)...id edit them myself, but i dont know how and dont wanna learn to do it for something this small

speaking of which, who has a high detail 30CAL W model ??? The default is just not doing it for me.

I've requested a hi poly p and w pack for the default models a few times, but it's never happened. :(

Wasn't the kar really long IRL?
And isn't there some hi-poly p & w packs on dodec?

no the kar wasnt reaally long IRL, not significantly longer than any of the other rifles anyway.
nutsymptom i used to use that massive p/w k98 model
now I use the p/w models from this pack
(I dont use the v model, I think it looks ug)

Jajahu put together a high-poly P & W pack awhile ago.. I use to use it.. I still have it saved on my computer, but it's like 25mb... Some really nice models in there from some of the big names in MSA...

What really irks me is that nowadays people don't really care too much about things like properly aligned/clipped textures and/or matching P's and W's. I used to love playing with 2krauts' packs during the betas because they went along with the defaults so perfectly, but now, even the dev team didn't include the proper 3rd person models with their updated 1.x Garand and Kar.
Just something I wanted to say... :X

the k98 should be long, but its taller than the grenadier is for frickin sake...anyway im tryin out the devin kryss pack...i dont care if its not good, i jsut want default p and w models that are brown in color....tryin them now

Every model I skin comes w/ v_,p_,and w_ models. It isnt right w/out them.

Well, if you look at this page

i would guess that the DoD team at least had the no FoV weapon models. They probably have them still around and if they would release them, it would be really easy to do high poly PW models of the default weapons.

Yeah, the thing that's preventing me from making a hi poly default P & W set is the fact that all the default v_ models are FOV'ed, they have tons of missing faces, I'm lazy, and about 2 or 3 other things. :\
Maybe one day...
