g43 sniper rifle

hey i was wondering if any one would like to make this model to replace the kar98 sniper rifle basickly all u would have to do is tack the german smi automatice rifle and put a scope on it see the pic as your refrence

hey i have a very nice sound for the g43 but i only wonna have it replace the sound for the sniper rifle not both the rifle and sniper rifle any one know how?????????

sry man, shoot sounds are hard coded that way :P

oh, you could change it in the qc but it might play both sounds

stick this:

{ event 5004 1 "weapons/[PUT UR SOUND HERE].wav" }

infront of everything after the shoot anim and compile. oh and make sure you put your sound in the sound/weapons folder or else it won't play :p

yah i'm pretty sure that you'll hear both sounds play at the same time, but atleast it will be a different sound then the regular k98

i have absolutely no knowldedge about weapon modelling but i have idea :
some weapons model have aditional sounds or sounds that didnt exist in dod normally , for example cheetos ppsh41 .
U could maybe delete the k98 shootsound and give both the normal k98 and the k98 sniper diferent additional shooting sounds- do u know what i mean ?
sorry when i write bull**** but this was my idea

not quite, the models use different sounds for different animations because of the added lines in the .qc file
