[MREL]3.1 German Grenade Converted For 1.1

Small conversion... i guess you all know how it looks like, anyway use save target only and the total bandwidth is limited so... if lots of people would like to use it then it will be nice if a hoster will come, but it's not really important atm.

Yeah. The old animations look much better than the 1.0 one. I prefer the 1.0 nade model though. Maybe i will just change the model.

Nice. I forgot how good the old one was.

You mean the old animations where you throw the nade without pulling the string first? :D

02-23-2004, 04:16 PM
acctualy you do but because of the way they animated your hands holding the grenade the string pull gets out of the frame... sadly i must say.

open up HLMV and look at the animations not from the origin view and you will see what i mean.

anyway, im glad you guys can enjoy it ;]

Nice one, I never liked the brown 1.0 model.

Any chance of Player_ and World_ models?

Here's the P_ and W_ grenade models to match the View model

Well done Mortar, i have always liked the old way the nade was held in 3.1, but i like the 1.1 anim's better, i might after i finish my current project, have ago at redoing the 1.1 anim's, so he's holding it the same way as in 3.1, but also see the string being pulled etc. BTW, did you know that there are some polys missing from off the top of the lower rim.

Thanks for the feedback :-) appriciated.

Marzy Can you see it ingame too ?
It's wierd cause i only changed the model position and reassigned bones.

btw, about the animations then in the 3.1 nade you do have the string pull but it's just out of the frame, check the sequences in HLMV.

To be honest i have not looked at it ingame, i just noticed it when checking it out in HLMV, using the ingame origins view, so i guess you can notice it ingame to. I realize that the string gets pulled off screen, i was on about maybe redoing the anim's, so the nade is held like in 3.1, but you see the string being pulled on screen, like in dod 1.1.

Nice convert, I'll probably use it once I put Dillinger's 1.0 skin onto it, I like the hand position a lot more than the 1.1 anims.

I was thinking of trying anims like that too MaRzy, it's definitely a good idea. :)
