okay i know this is the wrong forum but i rekon i have the best chance of being helped here :)

anyways im looking for bots that work with steam 1.1
recently having net troubles and cant play online so i need the bots to keep my skills sharp :D if anyone can help me locate the files + waypoints it would be much appreciated

You need to be online to use Steam BTW. They have yet to get Steam to work offline.

But I noticed that the last update to CS 1.6 said that 3rd party bots would work with it. I haven't checked to see if this applies to DOD with Sturmbot, but yeah, I'd like to see Sturmbot working with 1.1 (primarily for custom maps).

If someone could check to see if Sturmbot works with 1.1... that would be sweet.

yes i know you have to be connected to the net to run steam, my issues arent in connecting to the net its just the unstable data flow spiking in dod, anywhere from 60-900

Yikes... you tried deleting your clientregistry.blob?

Usually sorts any steam problem out.

i use sturmbot and it works fine, if you have problems i would go here (http://www.sturmbot.net/forums/)

"1. Install Sturmbot 1.6 under the dod folder.
For example, for the sturmbot installer, I specified
E:\Steam\SteamApps\gooofy60@hotmail.com\day of defeat\dod
(Note: Your email will be different, I hope)"

"....LIBLIST.GAM file does NOT need to be touched at all.
Instead just add -dll sturmbot\dlls\STURM_bot.dll to the Day of Defeat launch options.

Instructions:

1. Steam -> Games
2. Click on Day of Defeat with the right mouse button
3. Select Properties
3. Click on Launch Options
4. Enter: -dll sturmbot\dlls\STURM_bot.dll
5. Click OK
6. Click CLOSE
7. Double click on Day of Defeat

That's it.

Note: If you have LIBLIST.GAM file as READ ONLY, I recommend that you take READ ONLY off, as it (used to) prevents patches for Day of Defeat from installing properly."

5. Call the sturmbot menu, in the console type
