Ima n00b mapper never actualy finished something i started but after seeing some pics jed posted for molitov billy in general i just decided to map them, so heres what i got so far 1st pic is ref 2nd is from hammer, Its not identicle but its close enough.

When you get to the error page, for some reason if you click on the blue url text that says:-

"While trying to retrieve the URL:

......the pic loads up.;)

Not 100% sure atm, but its basicly gona be a uboat dock area, there gona be a garage thing behind the 1st uboat and docks for two uboats inside the garage posibly a small bunker complex within the uboat garage area, where the road goes up at the back of the pic i think ima make another road go upward to the right overtop of the uboat garage with a row of buildings and such, thats about all im workin on now.

Anyone know where i can get pics of the bunkers these uboats were docked in, i did a google search and it only comes up with pics of the boat...

Tried the search terms u boat bunkers and u boat bases?

I just did an image search using them, and it came up with a page full of pics.

which teams gonna be on this map? and is the objective to destroy the sub?

also is this the only area in the map or are there a few other areas to add a little more depth?

Theres gona be several other areas posibly another dock type thing on other side of bunker with a few military type buildings, but the main focus of the map will center around the sub, the teams will be
U.S vs. Axis

If i make it an objective map destroying the sub will def be it, but right now im not sure.

V GJ for a first effort, but as others have said, it looks like it will be r_speed hell!

Remove the hill model from the top of the U-Boat pen, it just looks wrong (any mound of earth would be much higher than that on a U-Boat pen; but since this is HL, I'd go without the hill).

Don't bother with trees, you're already using plenty of models in this area; and its a fairly Urban environment, so you dn't need to worry about them.

You might have better luck with reference pics if you search for U-boat Pens (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=u-boat+pens&sa=N&tab=wi).

That shouldn't be too hard.

You could still have just 3 vertices for the triangular part of the roof - just extend the skbox behind them.
