playermodels attached to a map, like in SvenCOOP
is that possible in dod ?
or could it be possible in a later version ....

When making a map, is it not possible to change the path for the player models, by editing a spawn entity to look else where rather then the default players dir. I've not done any mapping for around 2 years now, but if i remember right you could edit the path to the player models.

yea thats wot im thinking of
i just can understand why the dev team hasnt made an update
for this ?!?!?
isnt it pretty simple ?!?!!?
just add in the info_doddetect two lines:
custom models for Allies: models/player/mapname/us-name.mdl
custom models for Axis: models/player/mapname/axis-name.mdl
and if u dont wonna use custom playermodels just leave it
thats all ..... i guess, and i dont know if they need to change
somthing in the engine.
