I would love 2 know if u can play different sets of player models on each map. Like on kalt, i would like them with winter uniforms, and forest with camoflauge on. Is there any way t odo this? In models do u just make a folder called kalt and put models in it?

As far as i know this isn't possible yet. There has been much talk amongst this forum of wanting to see this implemented in DoD, lets jus hope the DoD team take heed to it.

because the maps are coded to use these models. in order to have different models sets for every map it would have to be coded that may. it would also mean you would have to have a set of player models for every map. e.g. Brit_winter, Brit_summer, US_winter, US_Summer etc.

There is, kind of, a way to do this, but I havn't tested it. There has been a program called the DoD Customizer (http://www.planethalflife.com/editor321/dod_customizer.htm) that will switch your player models when you run it. I suppose you could do this during the map change and perhaps DoD would load the different models after you switch them.

are you sure it works ingame? you might get the "the file xxxx.mdl has been changed" and have to quit, then press the button and start dod again

Yeah I was always aware that the player models are loaded into memory and dont get re-read unless you actually restart DoD.

Well, i think that dod_customizer thing would work if i got it configured, if stupid gamespy would let me dl it without the membership. Is their any other place u can dl it from?
