Hey guys, I downloaded one of the garand skin's from the fourm and I try to install it and it doesnt show up in the game. I backed up the current garand files in the models folder of DoD then extracted the current garand models to the model folder. When I go into the game it still is the original garand? Can anyone please help? I am running DoD 1.1 with steam. . . Thanks

Put the model into the folder:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\"Your e-mail addy"\day of defeat\dod\models

You might have to create some of the folders if they aint there (e.g. models)

Make sure it's called either V_garand, P_garand or W_garand.

It should then show up in game. Some servers though inforce default models I think so custom stuff wont show up on those ones.
