ok, im working on a map but i need a few items (prefabs).

1- A downed plane, like the one in dod_glider (on the hill or the one in alles spawn)

2 - A tank, preferably allied (one US and one Brit if possible)

3 - A truck, preferably allied {one US and one Brit if possible)

4 - A Depot, such as the one they have in dod_kraftstoff

If you know where i can get get any of these please tell me.

These models are available in some game called Day Of Defeat, I think.

1st of all, both of u wasted his time by answering like that, he obviously doesnt know how to map well and doesnt know the model names, etc.

try being helpful instead of sarcastic, and assume ppl dont know jack squat about anything.

Ok, your looking for a tank or two:

1. D/L Half Life model viewer if u dont already, then u can view model files. assosiate .mdl files with it.

2. find, sherman, tiger, cromwell, fuel depot etc .mdl's
the models are in dod/models/mapmodels u can browse for them there

3. insert them into ur map

4. for inserting instructions, refer to many posts or start ur own in the Q & A tuturial forum, ppl will help u

5. The glider in 'dod_glider' is brush based and was created in the editor, its not a model

I'm suprised that anyone would want a Glider a la para/dod_glider...

Anyhow, theres a British glider model (used in Jagd), which is much prettier, and should save you tonnes of trouble.

Theres also a moving glider (or is it a bomber? I can't remember offhand).

Please take it from a vet of this game, don't fall into the holes Krug has. I found more models while browsing the internet than my curiosity showed me in the dod folder.
Now if you think Insta or myself were "sarcastic", and want to teach us anything, no problem. You say I was not helpful, right? Are you drunk? Hopefully there was no IQ test to register to these forums. Oh and what he needs in #5 is not a prefab, but a model, so i must come to the conclusion that you were quite wrong on this one. At least you pointed out the Q&A forum :rooleyes: End of my rant.
