uh.. Yes .. and No... I did one for 3.1 but never got around to updating for 1.0 (and now for 1.1) I think I just may putz around with that this week, and see what comes up..
...
Is that the same pack w/ RoadBlock as mg?

yeah.. Here was the roster:
Light = Footloose
Medium = Flint
Sniper = Low-Light
Heavy = Dusty
MG = Roadblock
The only thing keepin me from putting together a 1.1 Para pack is the fact that I need to add 2 more models... I'll mess with updating the Infantry pack though...
...
You should throw Dusty (tha man) and Snake eyes in there. I made a Snake Eyes model but it looked really small in-game. I'll see if I can find the pic somewhere.

Yeah, I remember those good ole' boys. You think you can convert them to 1.1 inf.? Another thing we could do FX is change one of the heads on the Cobra paras to a Cobra commander hood. I still got all my Joe and Cobra sprites/flags I made for DoD. You still got the ones you made?

heh.. I once converted the CS Cobra Commander model as the Axis Medium for 3.1 but didn't use it because it was that "baby-blue" color... I took lots of heat about the dark blue uniforms on the Paras so there was no way I was going to use the Cobra Commander model for anything releaseable...
anyway.. I haven't played DoD much in the last couple months.. ever since 1.1 came out, and there wasn't a player model compiler I sort of lost interest... Now that I can use my models again I might get that old spark back again... lol.. Here's a pic of the sprites, and stuff I made back then..

If me and you (two G.I. Joe nuts) got together and released and entire Joe/Cobra model,sprite,and sound pack, it would be the biggest thing to hit DoD in a loooooong time (lord knows DoD msa needs it right now).

I'd help too being a big GI Joe fan... Only think is I have no time to learn how to model and skin or suck at attempting to do it :(.
I'll just root for you guys, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward for a full converstion. I remember the 3.1 and those kicked ass :)
Well I'm going to get started on this pack. All my friends in #DoD MSA, get ready for some heavy favors:D

Did you do these models yourself Effexx or are they hackjobs? Either way they're quite well done.
Edit - Ah, I see there is a readme that explains all, very nice.
I might try and hack the head off that CS Cobra commander you were talking about and put it on one of the foot soldiers. Although I think a hooded Cobra commander would look better. You guys think it would be hard to model a hood with the creases? Look at this pic for example:

Well... I messed around last night with the old GI Joe Allied pack, and was quite happy with what I got done... Seems converting them is easier than I originally thought... I thought that using to differently posed skeletons compile together into one model pack would cause a problem, but it seems not to... So expect a GI Joe Infantry Pack soon... ;) ... All I need then is two more player models for a Para Pack...
...
I had a Snake-Eyes model but I cant find it anywhere in my computer.

I think I saw a pic of that model once.. I kind of liked it, but I always liked the older (v2) of SnakeEyes.. The one where he doesn't come all decked out with butterfly knives, and silver sunglasses... .. This one :
SnakeEyes (version 2) 1985 (http://www.yojoe.com/action/85/snakeeyes2.shtml)
...
Yeah, thats the Snake Eyes I grew up watching. It doesnt seem like it would be all that hard making that version of him either. Although I like Gung Ho, with a lil' editing we could turn him into Sgt. Slaughter. Just remove his helmet, add his sgt. hat, slap on a black tank top, and add sunglasses (policeman style). We gotta work Duke somewhere into the pack too. About that Cobra commander hood, would it be hard to make a hood w/ the creases in it?
But if he wears sunglasses, how will you be able to tell where he is looking? My god the madness that can ensue with that....

... and a Biker, an Indian, and a construction worker !! lol
Duke was one I had in mind since he's in a leadership role... I would need two more models to fill 2 of the 3 Sergeant slots in the para pack so Duke would fit nicely... I was thinking SnakeEyes because everyone likes him...
