I'm making a new map called dod_kaust and there's a bit of a cool thing i'm puttin' in. You gotta retreive a map, bring it back to your radio, then you can call in an airstrike along a portion of the other teams side of the map.

But in order to make it look cool and imposing, i need some planes!!!

If anyone could make a B17 Flying Fortress and/or a Stuka Bomber plane and animate it as though it's flying for quite a distance, i'd be forever in debt to you!

And yes, I do realize there is a stuka model already in DoD. However it is far too large and has no flying animation. Also, if you could, make the plane as big as the C17 in the glider_flight.mdl model.

a B17 is hardly comperable to a Stuka dive-bomber, wouldn't it be better to use a P47, P38 or Typhoon? Perhaps even a B25, but a B17 seems a bit overkill.

Your right...The B17 usually have about 30 bombs comin' out at once so yea...overkill.

Maybe if you show a pic in your map where the model will be used, it would get people exited about making the models.

I might give the Thunderbolt a shot, but I've never made a model before.

Well... I would check out this anyways...

There was some planes a mapmodel pack from schlex.net(various me262 and a lot of stukas...)

Also you can find the original stuka model in dod_stuka, a 3dmike&mabwise´s map :\ (and it´s with an flying animation :( you can see it at dod_tobruk... dl it and see by yourself what happens when you use the radio...)
