Uh... I don’t know what happened to the other thread. Must have been deleted.
Anyway here they are again.
Props to Dun Leavy for coming up with the Idea

Wow they're nice .... except don't you have to almost read the name inside the helmet hat rim in order to tell what side it belongs to?
Maybe not quite that crazy, but I think that compared to the (unrealistic!) flags they're pretty hard to tell apart from a distance and/or in darkness/rain.
But they sure do look nice! Boy, there sure is some neat skill dispersed around this community ...

I think some ingame shots are needed to answer a few of these questions. Any body want to do this, I need to make sure that these are better than the ones I have now.

It's a creative replacement; in-game pics would be very appreciated.
Glad you guys like them. Good job Grain. Give me 10 mins and you's got your in game pics.
Alright heres my report...
They look awsome in game. Something very different indeed. They also add an interesting feel to your gameplay. (You gotta play with them to see what I mean... )
But as with every good release there are a few minor flaws...
As you can see in these screenies...they look great...but on select cap points, they just look sorta....well...weird. Take a look....
And on with the weirdness!! lol. Now take a look at this here screen shot...
Also...keep in mind that I only tested on Avalanche, the model error might occur on some other maps on select cap points...

you got any pictures where they fit? :D
i love the concept, and i'm using the model right now, but i'd highly suggest making a tripod verion of it, with custom helmets on them, with insignias of the axis/allies on them, or just flags, that way it's easier to distinguish between who's is who's. maybe even a beret for the brits... and yeah, the flag sticks all the way into the ground, i havn't seen any map where it looks good at all. still, i love the concept

ive used it for last 2 days .. but im going back to flags as its just too hard to tell who has the flag with these models ... and also IMO theyre far too low in the ground on some caps .. such as the bridge on anzio ... where u have to be on the bridge to be able to actually see it :( ) damn shame cause i really like the concept .. just doesnt work too well in game for me i guess.

The model needs a mound of dirt or something for the gun to stick into, although thinking about it having a gun sticking in a mound of dirt on a coble street will look slightly strange :P

the concept is good, but from what ive read so far i dont think this is going to work to well for most people, sure some wil use but dont expect this to take off. personally i like my big torn battleflags i like being able to see the national ensign waving tall and proud. a little war torn but proud none the less.
