I havent seen any Africa maps yet. If you know any, please tell me.
I think the African battle are worth of mentioning as some of the hardest to be fought, against the Afrika korps, the allies had a rough time.
Anyway, I know that DoD refers to all events after-D-Day, but the African fight is too important to forget. If it wasnt for the north african campaigns, the invasions on anzio sicily, etc, would have been impossible.
" The first American battle with German forces had cost more than 6,000 U.S. casualties, including 300 dead and two-thirds of the tank strength of the 1st Armored Division"

This idea is strenghten by the fact that both American and British troops fought in Africa, giving you mappers a whole range of possibilities.
